July 2, 2004 -- Donald Rubbo, Master Healer, due to popular demand, will be offering more healing appointment hours, at the Rubbo Healing Garden in San Anselmo, CA, starting in July, for those dealing with chronic and life-altering illnesses.

Donald's work was an essential part of my treatment and positive outcome for breast cancer. The concentration was on total recovery - from the specific focus of repairing my DNA to the broad vision of healing all of us in need. I am tremendously grateful for the benefits and blessings I received during my sessions with Donald. His knowledge, warmth and caring created a powerful journey of hope, opening and healing. Elizabeth B.

Master Rubbo, president of Paul D. Pickens II Research Foundation, practices Qigong Therapy, an intentionally directed process of energy exchange during which the practitioner uses his/her hands as a focus to facilitate the natural healing process of the patient. Qigong is a scientifically-based practice which holds that the human body, mind, emotions and intuition form a complex, dynamic energy field. This human energy field is governed by pattern and order. In disease or injury the energy is characterized by imbalance and disorder, in good health the field is balanced.

Donald Rubbo is a Master teacher of Qigong and Tai Chi Chuan, and has transformed not only my life, but the lives of many others, and has been doing so for over 25 years. He is a man of exquisite integrity, he lives what he teaches with impeccability and he does not compromise his values or principles. He is a natural healer, he brings his loving compassion to the people he helps to heal, and to all the people he encounters in his life.

Donald helped me in my healing process from cancer through his hands-on-healing, and through my practice of the Qigong exercises that he taught me. Though he is an extremely busy person, he is always there for me and for everyone else in his life, 100%. Donald teaches from the inside out in a way that students can understand what they are doing, not just on the physical level but from a deeply spiritual point of view. He is one of the most inspiring teachers I have ever had. Donald Rubbo is truly a warrior dedicated to healing the planet.     Julie B.

Master Healer Donald Rubbo also is especially effective with many other types of illnesses and injuries: stroke; immune disorders; spinal issues, pre-surgery sessions, and other health concerns. He also offers Personal Sessions in Tai Chi Chuan (Form, Applications and Internals) and Qigong (Assessment & Recommendations).

Donald and Cheryl Lynne Rubbo were among the first in the country to develop Qigong health programs for hospitals, for Marin General Hospital. They taught Qigong seminars to doctors and nurses at the San Francisco V.A. Medical Center, CA, and at Kaiser Hospital in Novato, CA. Donald Rubbo designed and directs Teacher Training programs, based on ancient Chinese healing arts, so that others can spread these health benefits to the public. The Rubbos founded and ran Five Tigers Martial Arts Summer Day Camp, for kids 6 to 15, and made learning this disciplined martial art fun for the kids, designing a program that taught development of self, conflict resolution, self-defense techniques and health exercises.

The Rubbos have been studying martial and internal arts for over 30 years, and bring warmth, humor and compassion to their work. Donald and Cheryl Lynne Rubbo have embraced and embodied the principles of martial arts: humility, respect, righteousness, trust and loyalty. They also live their lives, without wavering, by the precepts of Buddhism: generosity, morality, patience, diligence, concentration and wisdom.

Donald and Cheryl Lynne Rubbo lead classes, workshops and retreats locally, in Marin County, nationally, and internationally. Their popular summer retreats are held at a series of sacred sites and power spots on Mount Tamalpais and among the old-growth redwood groves in beautiful Marin County, California. The Rubbos are devoted Vajrayana Buddhist practitioners, under the guidance of Lama Lodu Rinpoche.
